How is Cōpare Different from Other Weight Loss Programs?

Cōpare is the only program on the market that offers a truly comprehensive and science-based approach to weight loss and total wellness. We don’t just focus on your short-term weight loss; we also focus on your long-term health.

All of our people are passionate about health and wellness and they’re passionate about you. We hire the best people — certified nutritionists, registered dietitians, health professionals, and certified health coaches — to work one on one with you to meet your goals. Our coaches provide the accountability and support that will guarantee your success.


We personalize and customize all of our programs. Just as no two Cōpare clients are alike, no two Cōpare programs are the same. Your program is dependent upon your particular health history, body composition, lifestyle and individual needs.


We teach you about the science of nutrition and how to use the right nutrients at the right times to fuel your weight loss and achieve your health goals.


Once you reach the goals we agreed upon during your initial consultation, we will provide you with a health coach for life at no additional cost. With lifetime support and education, Cōpare clients don’t just lose weight they keep it off!

Some of our clients have gotten a portion of their weight loss program covered. We will provide you with the appropriate insurance codes so that you can contact your insurance company. We do not submit paperwork to your insurance company on your behalf. 

Accountability, support, weekly coaching and weekly body composition analysis are the most valuable parts of our program. While we do provide some food, we are not a food program. Our program includes a combination of your food and some nutrient rich Cōpare food. We are focused on your macro nutrient profile, i.e. carbs, proteins and fats, and making sure that you have the correct formula that will enable you to lose body fat and not muscle. We want to make sure that the program fits easily into your lifestyle. If you travel and enjoy eating out, we will make recommendations and assist with menu selections that will allow you to be compliant and continue to lose weight on our program. We can accommodate any food allergies and dietary restrictions.

Financing is available. Many clients take advantage of Care Credit, a health care credit card, to finance their weight loss investment at 0% for 12 months (credit approval required).

Yes! Funds from an FSA or HSA are a great option and can help cover the costs of your Cōpare program. In some cases, you may need approval from your insurance company to have the expense covered. In this case, a physician may have to prescribe weight loss as a treatment for obesity related diseases such as diabetes, for example. Please contact your provider for more details.

To be considered a medical expense, a physician must prescribe weight loss to treat a specific disease, such as diabetes, for example. You can deduct medical expenses if the weight-loss program equals more than 7.5% of your adjusted gross income. (Source) Please check with your tax advisor for more specific details.

Our formula for weight loss is based on macronutrients which differ for every individual. We recommend a balance of carbs, proteins and healthy fats that promote weight loss (from fat) and protect muscle. Our program allows for more protein than keto, and does not restrict carbs as much as a keto plan. We also encourage the consumption of lean sources of protein and healthy fats including olive oil and avocado oil. Once our clients reach healthy body fat percentages, we have an excellent transition program where we re-introduce healthy/complex carbs. When our clients transition, they also have the support of a health coach for life! A consistent support system for education and accountability is key to maintaining weight loss.

We believe in a balanced approach. We help you lose weight and reduce inflammation by providing you with the right balance of macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, healthy fats). Once you lose the weight, we gradually reintroduce healthy food options and provide you with a different set of macronutrients that will enable you to maintain your weight loss and continue to improve your body composition.

In the beginning and while your body is adjusting to a new, healthy way of eating, we may encourage you to scale back on your workouts. When your body adjusts, we will use the body composition analysis to customize your program and teach you how to properly fuel your workouts. If you have not been working out, we will simply encourage you to start moving.  A 30- minute walk and small movements throughout the day is perfect.

We work with people of all ages and some of our most successful clients are over 60. You can lose weight at any age.  Your coach will talk with you about lifestyle changes that will help promote weight loss including movement, sleep and stress management.  While your weight loss may be slower, (depending on your body composition and other health factors) losing weight can help reduce your medications and improve your total wellness

We work with people of all ages including teens (16 and over) and college students. Because we personalize all of our programs, we are able to help teens lose weight and also provide them with a nutrition education that will last a lifetime.

Women often think weight loss is impossible after menopause. While metabolism may slow down a bit, it doesn’t have to come to a halt. By personalizing all of our programs, we are able to ensure that women in all stages of their lives are successful at losing weight.

Our program is not only about weight loss; we also help you improve your body composition through education and proper nutritional guidance. We help you understand what your body needs in order to achieve optimal performance. Several of our nutrition experts also have extensive backgrounds in personal training and endurance training.

The services we offer are more comparable to hiring a nutritionist or registered dietician. We work closely with each individual in the weight loss phase and even more closely during maintenance. We provide you with the nutrition education that will enable you to not only lose weight while on-program, but also keep your weight off long term. Cōpare is not an off-the-shelf, one-size-fits-all program. We customize our service to you. While our pricing has predictable ranges, your individual investment depends on your goals, in combination with the needs we identify during your initial consultation and body composition analysis session. We personalize all of our programs to ensure that we are meeting your individual needs. Working with a nutrition professional means you get a personal plan. Our program is designed so that we spend time learning about your health history, lifestyle, needs and goals.

The consultation fee holds the appointment for you. Your initial consultation is highly informative. You will spend about an hour  with a knowledgeable Cōpare health coach who will discuss your personal health summary as well as your motivation for wanting to lose weight.  You will also receive a printout of your body composition analysis as well as a  detailed interpretation of your results.  This report is highly informative as it provides you with a “snapshot” of your health.  Many hospitals, gyms and recreation centers  charge over $100 for a body composition.

Every Cōpare program is customized for each client, so it is difficult to determine your investment until we meet with you. Your personalized program is dependent upon your health history, medications, lifestyle, dietary restrictions/ preferences, age and body composition.   During your consultation (virtual or in person), we’ll review your body composition results and your personal health summary and determine how long it will take you to reach your healthy weight goals. From there, we’ll provide you with an accurate cost for your specific program. Our consultations are comfortable and informative. We’ll never pressure you to sign up because we want you to be ready.
