Cōpare Weight Loss Grand Opening Potomac Village, MD

Cōpare Celebrates Opening in Potomac Village

Thanks to our incredible team, special guests, new neighbors — and a set of enormous scissors — we cut a bright red ribbon across the door of our Potomac Village wellness and weight loss center on October 16, 2019, to make it official: Our sixth location in the DMV is open for business!

The Potomac Village grand opening ceremony was huge, with representatives from U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin, Congressman David Trone, Congressman Jamie Raskin, and Montgomery County Councilmember Andrew Friedson, plus Maryland State Delegate David Fraser-Hidalgo in person, on hand to help with our ribbon cutting.

The celebration couldn’t have happened without the hard work of Rockville Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Marji Graf and Rockville Economic Development Inc. (REDI) Executive Director Cynthia Stewart.

Spirits were high as Cōpare clients mingled with guests to share their personal health and weight-loss stories. And our team members gave free in-depth body composition analyses, explaining the benefits of our “coaching for life,” and spotlighted our special “6+1PGO” promotion offering one additional week free for new clients who sign up for six weeks of an Cōpare weight loss program.

Cōpare owners Jim Moore and Eric Candelori wowed the crowd with their passion for helping people change their lives and adopt a healthy lifestyle.

“My father passed at 52 from cardiac disease and his father who I had never met at died at the age of 52. At the age of 48, I knew I needed to change my health. I was in a weight loss system in another city learned the business and then built Cōpare with Eric here just about four years ago. Our mission is simple “Cōpare” stands for empower. We’re here to empower our clients and our staff. And 180 in the degrees we change their life through nutritional coaching,” Jim Moore.

“We really studied the weight loss industry and thought to ourselves there’s got to be a better way. We believe that with one-on-one counseling, education, and the opportunity to continue to come to see us and continue to get weighed in at no cost once clients reached their healthy weight, so essentially a lifetime membership, that really would change the equation,” Eric Candelori.

Festivities included plenty of our delicious and nutritious low carb muffins and protein bars for visitors to sample, along with recipe cards that help clients adopt and maintain healthy nutrition.

We thank everyone who gathered with us to create a truly memorable and successful event, and we are excited to connect with our Potomac Village neighbors and support their journey toward long-term health and fitness.
